They were okay. I went to the study skills, belonging and maths ext 1 sessions. I would recommend going if you're not tight on time because you are staying there for most of the day after all. Although you could also just bring work there and do your work when the lecture gets boring (I did that, lol) The study skills session is mostly stuff that everybody already knows, except when I came home the stuff she said in the lecture stayed in my head so in that case it was easier to apply the study skills, than if I just read the lecture on a sheet. I thought the belonging one was pretty good, I thought it was helpful not for the belonging aspect but more for the marker's perspective, because the lecturer was a HSC marker and had lots to say about how to write our HSC exam. lol. My friend found the belonging lecture totally useless though and fell asleep. I almost fell asleep in the ext 1 lecture because I already knew the 'tips and tricks' and the other half of the session was doing some perms and combs exercises, which I totally zoned out of because I hadn't learnt it at school yet.
