I'm analysing Woolworths transaction processing system and I'm confused with the users and participants for normal checkouts, self-checkouts and online websites. Are customers participants for online websites?????

Customers could be considered participants for online websites (since it can be said that they alter the system in some way which doesn't happen when they make purchases in-store but does online). However, I don't think customers can be classified as participants for normal and self-checkouts, just users.

Thank you so much. It helped me a lot. But one thing I found was that customers are also participant for self checkouts.
