Just wondering why macquarie uni doesnt have a law faculty like all the other universities?
Its recovering from a few years of instability within the Law Department.Just wondering why macquarie uni doesnt have a law faculty like all the other universities?
Replace " 'Department(s)' " with " 'Division(s)' ".It's a result of the university re-structure in 2008/2009. Prior to this time, the university had a number of 'Departments'. 'Department' was Macquarie's version of a Faculty. There existed, prior to the re-structure, a Department of Law. Instead, now Macquarie has a School of Law, located within the Faculty of Arts (Macquarie has reverted back to using the term 'Faculty' as part of the re-structure).
That's the PC version of things. It's a result of the university re-structure in 2008/2009. Prior to this time, the university had a number of 'Divisions'.
