why dont the emoticons work (1 Viewer)

why dont the emoticons work on the compose page, i currently have,

• mr angry
• winky
• evil guy who looks like he will explode soon
• noddy
• and cheesy grin

but it changes all the time...why is this so?

For some reason, i get randomly different smiley's each time, I have currently, the big red "Smilies", wink and small red "Smilies" and before i had and

Sometimes though when u do it manually though the face doesnt come up it just comes up as a box with a cross
