It makes a great deal more sense than finishing high school and then going to university.

STAT is the way to go. Taking a three hour test that you don't have to study for is a lot easier than doing the HSC.

Seriously, absolutely nothing is stopping you Year 11 students starting university July this year. You will be half-way through your degree by the time you would have finished high school.

because if you want to do something good you need to do the prerequisites like ext 1 maths for example.

except that the degree gets u nowhere. besides bricklaying
Yes, a Bachelor of Laws or a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Medical Science are code for 'bricklaying degree'.

Most of the time those are just recommendations and if not there is nothing stopping you doing a bridging course.

Wrong again! You can get into most degrees this way. You have to be over 21 for some unis, but at Newcastle, non-bricklaying degrees include: arts, architecture, teaching, commerce, fine arts, music, nursing...

Y'know, not brick laying.

out of so many threads here, this one actually has a good point.

Example of another azn that thinks the only way to get into uni is by doing mx2 maths, physics, chem and english and going to james ruse.
haha man what do you have against ruse kids?
