why is law a dual degree? (1 Viewer)

hey peeps kinda new on here and would like to know why UNSW law can only be pursued as a dual degree not a single degree?

* Most universities offer Law as a dual degree, as it is difficult to gain employment as a lawyer so individuals have another degree they can "fall back on".
* If you have a bachelors then a JD can be done afterwards (a "single" postgraduate law degree).
