hello, i do hospitality(vet course), IT (vet course), business studies, standard english and general maths. are these valid subjects to get a atar/hsc ?

you can get an star, but you do two category b subjects, so are not eligible for an atar.

what subject did you drop?
if you wanted an ATAR you should have kept it and dropped one of the VET subjects

you are eligible for a HSC but because you do 2 category b subjects you are not eligible for an ATAR

ATAR Eligibility Requirements

Satisfactory completion of:
at least 10 units of Board Developed Courses including 2 units of English
at least 4 Board Developed Courses
satisfactory completion of at least 8 units of Category A courses
no more than 2 units of Category B courses
