in semester 2?
In the handbook it says that Intro to French A is only offered in semester one, and Into to French B has the pre req of A... so does this mean I won't be able to do it next semester?

That goes with most of the subjects in Arts, cause I really wanna drop a subject I'm doing now and pick up a new one next semester but I don't think I've seen many which have the introduction courses offered in S2 as well...

No, you cannot start a language in semester 2.

What you can do however, is to start self-studying the language (possibly find the course outlines for 1A or people that's currently doing 1A and study with/from them?), and by semester 2, you can ask to do the placement test and be placed in 1B.

Oh yea and you mentioned you wanted to do French? I think they have pretty big lectures, so maybe you can even start turning up to their lectures?

You can start one but you need to do a test prior.
