Have you tried the new Windows Blue?
It has new stuff like
Additional touch gestures such as swipe up on start screen for access to all apps
More size options for tiles (such as a new small size, and an extra-large size exclusive to the Desktop's tile)
Expanded color options on the Start screen (which now allows users to choose a color and a shade instead of choosing from limited colors)
The ability to sync more settings between devices (including Start screen settings and Bluetooth keyboard/mouse configuration)
Expansion of PC Settings to include more options that were previously exclusive to the Control Panel
New snapping modes (including a 50/50 split and the ability to use more than 2 snapped apps at once)
Ability to take screenshots from the Share charm
"Play" option in the Devices charm (for playing content to another device)
Additional stock apps (such as a calculator, alarm clock, sound recorder, the video editing app "Movie Moments", and a file manager)
Increased SkyDrive integration (including automatic device backups)
An early version of Internet Explorer 11 (with an updated engine that identifies itself as being "like Gecko" in its user agent, and a tab syncing function)
SPDY support added to Internet Explorer 11 via the Windows Internet API so other desktop apps can benefit from the SPDY protocol support.
