The girl and i have been dating for pretty much a year and a half, we have decided to move away 2 hours from home for uni. Just the two of us...

We have fights every so often but ends up to be ok in the end... so i believe.

I have been thinking about all the people i wouldnt see for a while.
I dont have a clue if this is a wise decision.
My parents think its great for me to stand on my own two feet, but i think they just want me out of the house :p

I get really moody due to her sometimes and i dont know how i would go living with her...

(Hoping she doesnt read this ahaha)

Any advice?

If you would be able to support yourself (ie move out to another place) should things go sour, go for it

What sort of place you moving to? As long as it's not a 1 bedroom, with kitchen you'll be fine. As long as you have some place to still both chill out apart when needed. You'll find you'll have alot of fights initially until a normal routine is set up, food is settled etc. Tho i'd hate to live with my gf during exam period, i like my body not torn limb from limb. I say you do it.
should be a two bedroom apartment (her parentals dislike same room etc)
kitchen: definitely :D

quite small i presume....

It kinda seems as though you're already looking for someone to tell you it's not a good idea. You don't seem too positive about it, so I'd say just from what I've read, no. But you're the one who knows deep down if it's the right thing to do.

I think you should do it. I mean, youre going to have to move out of home sometime, why not do it with someone you love. Lean on eachother when you need support, but also give yourselves space. It's a big jump, but not set in stone, so you have room to back out and stuff like that. In the end this is all just nerves. You'll be alright

You never really know a person til you live with them!

Personally, I'd rather live with friends first before I lived with a partner. Just make sure you have plenty of time apart.

"Follow your heart" lol, no. Yes, there are some major emotional factors in this but you need to bring some logic into it too.

ahahaha her parents are retarded if you're living together how will having separate rooms make any difference.

Edit: Also don't do it. Your her highschool boyfriend. Within a month at uni there we bill some hot hipster from like 3rd year who's suave and sophisticated and knows art and such, even though he studies something cool like engineering, and she'll let him bang her.
