Hey :D

Does anyone know whether you need experience working for Gloria Jeans? I'm thinking of applying but I don't have cafe experience. Should I apply anyway?

Thanks!

My sister worked at Gloria Jeans and had only worked at a smoothie bar before (like boost).
Go for it. Good experience, alright pay, good place to work.
Only downside is the amount of shit you take from customers (WHERE THE FUCKS MY COFFEE!!??).
good luck. Lacho.

Gloria Jeans would give in house barista training, but when I worked at a cafe I took a barista certificate on top of in house training. Personally, I found coffee making and dealing with food frustrating, but give it a go anyway, it can be fun!

Nopes, you don't need any experience to work at Gloria Jeans.

My friend got a job @ Gloria Jeans when she was in yr10 and she didnt have any experience.

I hate how a lot of Coffee Shops need 'X' amount of years experience in Coffee Making......i mean, how does everyone else start out, they must have learnt from somewhere :p

I am determined to get a job in Starbucks one day :D!
