on the thread ive hated on the obnoxious private school kids in my area, but not everyone who attends private is automatically obnoxious and rich, its just the loudest. 35% of students are in private schools, and i really doubt that all those kids parents are making 200k a year. fees range from 5k- 40k a year, the average is 10k which is quite a lot, but a lot of parents will try to budget for it bcuz they want their kids to do well
i see, ik some ppl who moved from public to private so they can do better, lets see how they go

From my friends experinces, mt annan and robert townson or just any high school in the campbelltown area sucks. The only good selective school in the area is hurlstone, but its well over 45 minutes away

if u go to a real private school, the parents definitely do make 200k+ easy except for some certain outliers...this is probably for 40k per year fees though so take with a grain of salt

if it is under 40k its not really a real private school is it, just a catholic school or sum else
so your saying lorreto, newington, Riverview, knox are all not private? tbh any school in isa, gps and cas are private as well as any academic schools, fees dont really play a role

I’ve heard that they use the dumb kids parents money to fund their James ruse level scholarship kids. And plus why do retards and their retarded parents pay 40k/year for their drop kick ass kids? Why they wasting money on 60 max atar kids?
if your private school is anything decent you fail most stuff and still get like a 70-80 atar

I know someone who goes to a private school on the lower cost side, and I've realised the school and its 'brother' school have higher acceptance rates depending on your connections. They'll ask you a million times if you have an older sibling already attending at this school or its brother school, so there are many people in my school who are related by cousins, siblings etc, and most are from families who make alot more then the average. Im talking about home-theatre houses and whatnot.

ofc there is a higher chance if your brother or sister alr goes, it would be a bit weird if one sibling was going to an elite private school and the other was going to the local public school

thats honestly quite sad, ik someone whose parents didnt let them try out for the selective school test and they go to a normal public school, but their younger sibling goes to selective- kinda messed up ngl
