Worth claiming the dole for 2 weeks (1 Viewer)

So I'm between jobs for 11 days. Is it worth claiming the dole for this time.

I see no reason not to since I just apply online. Then as I understand you just go in once and they back date it to the date you applied online.

Seems worth it to get ~$400.

Anyone had a similar experience?

You shouldn't claim the dole unless you need and deserve it. Not just because you think it'll be good to get a free $400. That is other people's money you would be taking. Do you like knowing that other people are taking your money when you see 10% of what you worked for gone each week?

I agree, besides dont you wanna maintain your pride? That you dont need to rely on others for money? Get it only if you need it.
