In my own opinion, I would rather lend my book to the one I trust most. If rarely see the person who is borrowing your book, maybe you can say no.

NO, never ever will i lend a book. I have nightmares thinking about all them ripped pages, creases, bends *shudders*
I only let my brother and my mum read my books BUT they are not allowed to leave the house and i fully give them a lecture on how to hold the book so that it doesn't get creases in its spine

By all means once I'm finished fully with the book.

As i read mostly self development stuff lending a book to someone is more of a joy than anything.

No-one gets my books. Not since MY OWN BROTHER scribbled inside the front cover in red fucking texta last week.

Especially my Golden Books : ) haha
I have some golden books too, only my property, I mean.
But I think it's ok to borrow some of them. You can share, it's pretty normal.
