Like I said, give it to younger years when I'm done.

I write my answers into the dotpoint book. But in pencil, so in the holidays, I can rub the answers out and rewrite them.

We get textbooks for all our subjects: Maths, Legal Studies, Physics and Chemistry. The school lends them to us. For English, they lend us the text we're using (usually a novel, or play of some sort), therefore, we don't have to go out and purchase them for ourselves.

I got textbooks, but they weren't Dot Point so I had to buy the Dot Point books.

To be honest, I don't think that the Dotpoint books are -that- good. I think it'd be better if you wrote your own dotpoint summaries. Save you some money. :p

I can resell the book because I never write in it, and it's basically new.

Well, I like keeping all my books and stuff as a memento of my schooling years.

Heh yeah I wish I had kept my year 7 books at least. Earliest ones I have now are year 10, threw out the rest at the end of each year.

Dot point books were made so taht you could write in them and make a summary of the stuff you need to know. I personally write in pencil so when exams come round, i can rub them out and do the questions again.
Ahahha that's what I do as well. I own my Physics Dot Point textbook. Writing in pen just ruins it.

Nearly 95%+ of Nsw schools do not give out their books , except for mathematics , and you still need to return it at the end of the year.

So what people do , is buy their own text books. Me being one of them ;)
I would say that's inaccurate. We all get textbooks in each subject except for English, where we just get the novels and texts.

Yeah - some of my friends did that - to save money. Wise people.

i use the dotpoint book as a practice exam. i find that once i've done it i can never do it properly again because i remember all the questions and the textbook answers....which is kind of useless. so i write in them with a pacer.....don't know why i don't use a pen. i just started with a pacer and now its habit...
I believe that some of the questions (particularly the mathematics type) in the dotpoints for Physics are way too easy for a 'practice exam'. I've seen some of my school's half yearly past papers - and some of the questions are way harder.
