Man, have you ever actually ever used Vista, or are you one of those idiots who make decisions off reviews...

You know what what you probably have used Vista before, but it was on 1 gig of ram.

But sure vista has its ups and downs in the compatibility department, but they are improving it as time goes by, but it's security is 10 times better then XP, it has a more laid back approach thus making it easier for the user to do normal tasks.

Next time think before you make a statement...and if your a troll, go back to /b/

I have Mcafee, and i also use spybot.

Ok, i will try system restore. And, could anyone tell me, how exactly do i format my computer? coz, it's pretty new and i've never done it before.

edit: oh wait, crap. I need my vista CD to reinstall vista to format my comp, right? I don't have my CD with me. It's in Sydney and i only came back home to Newcastle yesterday and i won't be back in Sydney for at least a month. >_>

nah, i don't. It's far far far away.

But, i just did system restore to right before things started screwing up, and now my comp is working fine. =D (well, except that now, some of the website icons have gone funny. eg. hotmail has a funny blue and yellow yin and yang symbol. And ninemsn has the icon for tv-freeload. o___O and omgwtfbbq, my usyd webct site has a vulture icon.)

But, as far as i can see, everything is fine now.

My comp is fixed now. ever since i did system restore, now when i restart it everything loads up like normal. Bg, icons, taskbar, start menu. Everything is fine. So, it's A-OK. =D

and, lol, if you really want that yin/yang symbol, then just screw up your comp like i did somehow. xD

Yes, i used vista for 4 months before reverting to XP. No i had 3 gigs of ram.

If you want an 'easier' layout, use a fucking mac.
