just wondering, who is doing YAA Business Skills this year?

have you started? what's your venue? how many meetings have you guys had?

mines just sent an email around for confirmation of acceptance..dunno if i should go or not.
does this waste heaps of time and whats the benefits?

its where a group of students are put together, set up a company with real money, and make a product and sell. At the end of the year company liquided and money given to share holders(people who bought shares)

i'm doing yaa now in the city, so i don't think your choice was 'bad'. but i applied back in feb/march so yeh you might wait a while until a reply..

we had a representative from YAA come speak to us at school around feb/march I'd say
...that's when peopled started registering.
since our school is pretty close to the CBD that's where most applied for.

a few people from my school got accepted ages before the autumn holidays started. and some got accepted more recently but they've rejected it
...so maybe you've still got a chance to go?

lol we did that last year at school in commerce - we used the schools money to manufacture some stickers then sold it back to the school for even more money

it was actually pretty good i learnt heaps
