hello, (wasn't sure if this is the right place to post ..)
was just wondering if anyone knew any good law firms that i could get into?
possibly in the city ..
mmm i'm also interested in commerce if there's any other suggestions.

my work exp. starts in june
and so far i've been rejected 7 times T_T
they either don't accept year 10 w.e. students
or only accept you if you know someone that works there ..

anyway,
hope you can help :]

Errr...
You do know what that is, no?
More importantly, does he know where that is?

@OP: Go for the local/supreme courts. They're fun. I did my work experience there and got to sit in on trials. My friend went to one of the law firms in the CBD (don't know which one) and just spent the week getting under people's feet at the office.

What firms have you tried at? Make sure you tell them you love the area of law and want to do something in that field later in life, and also stress your flexibility. I did these things and managed to get in to a decent firm, although that may be for another reason entirely...

BTW, W/E at a firm was fun, and I didn't get under people's feet.

did no work experience.

But I worked my ass off as a volunteer for Easy Care Gardening where I went to old people's houses and helped out gardening...:)

Im Yr 12 and love law my interest being specifically criminal prosecution. I wrote a letter to my DPP (director of Public Prosocutions) and now i have 14 days of work exp. organised with a leading Crown Prosecutor in Victoria. I'll be going to court and doing the boring admin stuff too.
I can just say keep writing letters. I'd target smaller firms cause they would be more likely to take you in. or even write a letter to your DPP.

Go for the law courts (local, district or supreme) or DPP (as mentioned above). In law firms you do a hell of a lot of filing/secretary jobs - many of my friends found themselves in that position.
