Yh apparently u can but idk what to write if i get rejected also my parents r kind of against me going there for some reason my sister made the reserve list for yr 11 this yr but didnt make it in n when i told my mum to pray for me to get in she was like ‘ur sister made it the reserve list n i didnt argue to make them take her so i wouldnt want u to go’ she didnt say it rudely or in a mean way but it still was sad bc i RLLY WANT TO GO THERE n she knows how much i do

you can only send an appeal letter if the committee didn't follow their own guidelines, or you think you were discriminated against because schools can't let race, religion, ethinicty etc. have a difference on your outcome but that barely happens. You cant send a letter js cause you think you studied a lot and you're sad you didn't make it

i sat my test at girra (entry to yr 10) and i counted 128 ppl in the hall and pretty sure there were 3 other classes on top of that.

so i feel the chances of me getting in is very acute, but at the same time i feel half the ppl are doing it just cuz their parents insist to do so.

Sounds about right. I would reassure you but, it's hard to do with honesty. Just remember you did what you could, the outcome is what it is. You have another chance as well, next year. A lot of people are lucky and get in without much preparation, regardless of whether they were really aiming for it or not, so there is that to keep in mind.

yeh, but my brother graduated from girra with a rlly good atar and it rlly does put a lot of pressure on me, especially from my parents' silent expectations as well, but yeh its all upto god at the end of the day.
