- You reach out for the calculator to change the song you're listening to on your ipod..

- You watch the Olympic divers and wonder at what velocity, acceleration and air resistance they're experiencing..

- Your notes for all your other subjects start having plus, minus, therefore and equal signs..

- You attempt to work out the probability of eating a sultana in a spoonful of cereal..

Anyone else experiencing something similar? :cold:

EDIT: (I still love maths! <3)

Yesterday I was making pizza for lunch. I couldn't stop myself trying to figure out what the graph for...

x = time in oven
y = yumminess

...would look like. And it took me surprisingly long to realise the insanity of what I was doing, and how much study for maths was corrupting my mind.

So, um, you're not along.

that sounds like my year co-ordinator who is a math extension teacher and then she relates it to sport like olympic rowing and then says its some of us in the hsc who are constantly doing our work and then theres the people who are at the back of the pack and are slowly running out of courage. LMAO:read:

...your brain hurts so much that you rate this pain on a scale of 1-10.

When you watch the cycling in the olympics, and wonder what the fastest speed the cyclists can ride around the banked track at without slipping
