Identity is the area of study - The Removalist

For Electives
1) Textual Comparison - 1984 and V for Vendetta
2) Critical Study - Shakespeare's Othello
3) Marco History and the Individual (examining how personal history and world history are shaped and represented) - Poetry and non-fiction texts

In year 12, Belonging is the area of study and our text is Crucible, easy for me, I did it in year 9!!
Is Crucible good? I want to believe my English teacher, but hmm..

On topic, Our Area of Study was Conflict and we did Emma *shudder*
We also did Othello- Critical Study, Images of Peace and War and Poetry- John Foulcher
EDIT: Forgot about Extension English lol, we did Text Culture and Values focusing on the Gothic genre and we did Dracula and Coppola's film adaptation, Interview with the Vampire and film and Buffy the Vampire Slayer plus an assessment on a text of our own choice, I did Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray

LOL the plot is at least not as dull as Emma.... It's actually not that bad :D
lol we found ways to make Emma fun, most of which involved joking about it. Our teacher even admitted the other day that she never finished Emma

We did Authority and Leadership (I never want to hear those words again!) ... and hopefully we'll get our assessments back tomorrow. The text we did was King Lear.
