Who's having a year 10 formal, whos had theirs?

My formal's on the 23rd of Nov, it's gonna suck all the teachers in the school were invited this year. We had to pay $80 bucks for our formal. One chick i know is going to wear 4-5 inch heels.

Our formal is on the 16th of december and is going to be so boring because its a only girls formal we had to pay $50 so thats alright.

my year 10 formal back in 2003 was a little disorienting.

we had seating arrangements that were messed up, music was crap and the best dressed award went to kids who didn't even go to our school.

me and my friends got a limo - driver got lost so I had to give him directions.

I paid $75, this was at Doltone House at Sylvania.

I hope my year 12 formal this monday is alot better.

This isn't really what the thread asked but anyhoo, my school's not having a formal since they say "over 90% of yr 10s go to yr 11 anyway" and there was this other student who tried to organise it and like only 10 people are going to hers, lol. How lame.

Unlike everyone else, I didn't get to choose my food from the menu because I'm a vegetarian... so I guess I'll get a suprise on the night.

My school isnt having one, even though there was a petition going around and everyone in yr 10 signed it!
I probably wouldnt go to it if my school did have one... but thats not the point!

dj at doltone house sylvania is absolute craptastic. I'm not into dance but I could pick out he was bad.
