Hey,
I heard (from Medentry) that due to UAC changing from UAI to ATAR that USyd needs to modify the way they select combined med students. I heard it was because if they lowered the cutoff from UAI 99.95 to ATAR 99.90, too many people will be offered interviews (which are there just to make sure you're not insane) and therefore too many people, not enough space.
So they're incorporating UMAT into the selection process as well.
I was wondering if anyone's got anymore detail on this.
Does anyone know what the intake for combined med will be this year?
Will people still be able to get that 10K scholarship?
Thanks,
Rheyn
