Would i be dead set for high band 6 or at least mid?

Wow, that's a really good mark for 2003. If you perform to that level in HSC you are set for high Band 6. But your school rank suggests that you may be pulled down by the cohort (possibly if people above you don't perform as well as they should)

This thread's made me feel pretty good.
I'm 4/7, though only a mark behind 3rd. I have no doubt that at least the 3 people beating me have done over 80% on past HSCs in revision, and I can get at least 90/120.
I'd be surprised if the top two guys got under 100/120 in the exam.

Which is still better, anyway - technically the original person can drop 40 marks and still get 70-or-above.

It's funny that no one's answered your question yet, they've just told you what you need to get, which is about 50-55%. But in an answer to your question i don't think you'll make 70 with those ranks. You've got 12 units so you're better off studying for your other subjects

If i get that mark they will def get something better.

@OP: It isn't hard at all - just avoid silly mistakes. Bahah that's the reason why I left 2U to pick up 4U xD; silly mistakes galore. Well, aim for at least 75/120 and you should be able to meet your aspirations :]
