I don't know if this has already been said but religion and belief in God is all about faith and trust. We are told that wind exist but we can't see it, we can only feel it. In the same manner we don't see God but we can feel him/her at certain times.

Some people also fund it hard to understand God as it is literally an impossible task. An item such as a table will never know the nature of the craftsman who made it as will humans never truly understand God.

where have you been throughout this thread,that a perfect analogy.However does that mean the us mere mortals can only speculate and never be sure? or the our "origins"(matter) are not known because a lack of information?

i guess that and the origin of matter are the only impacts a god would truly have on us.But in the meantime while were alive should have faith,speculate or not care altogether.Lack of information is a serious problem with this issue.

Why would you even think there is the probability that there would be the presence of God after death? There's a possibility yes - but it's an extremely unlikely probability. It's about as likely as meeting a leprechaun after death.

Anyway, death is marked by absence of all conscious activity. Why would there be anything after all bodily and cognitive processes have ceased?

Thats the amazing thing about Christian grace. Jesus desired that none would perish, offering himself as a bridge to eternity for undeserving mankind, while Allah tries to intimidate the infidel - threatening the infidels earthly body aswell as gleefully proclaiming a firey eternity for his soul.

okay "cyrus" iv'e got the impression that your'e a man of faith,proberly islam since your'e so Defensive and always talk it up.Anyway what makes you so sure of the Islamic faith,that Allah exists and that there is a paradise after death for those of Islamic faith.Because i'm currently stricken between 2 options which is Speculate or believe.So other than Genetic determinism and cultural bias what are your'e reasons for being religious?.
