Goosebumps were an awesome read while Animorphs was more funny to watch. Grown people morphing into animals? WTF!!

Goosebumps for sure. animorphs would've been good if only the character dialogues hadn't been so dramatic..that really killed it..like that bit in the beginnings..eg: "My name is Marco. Just Marco. I can't tell you my last name. or where i live.or who I am. If i did, I would die"

I was more of a Goosebumps fan and bought so many of them from Kmart! But Animorphs was also good.. I would swap with friends in class and read them during "reading time".

I also like those 2 minute mystery books with solutions and Encyclopaedia Brown seris!

What no way Animorphs had great characters and story lines. Goosebumps just got boring and repetitve.

Go Animorphs!!!

Goosebumps did get a bit boring (in terms of repeated themes/motifs/"surprises") but it didn't stop me reading all of them until the end.. didn't like the Choose your own goosebumps though. They were crap. Animorphs felt interesting but in terms of quantity I preferred the whole 'each book is it's own story' (kinda like Simpsons episodes) as opposed to having to read them all.

Sorry mate but disagree with you.. although it's probably me being weird. I'm the kind of guy who would stick his fingers in at each page where I had to make a decision so that I could easily go back to it after and change my mind if I hit an abrupt ending to the story. That was what annoyed me... what looked like a book which would give you a decent amount of reading time (for a kid's reading ability) could end very quickly if you picked the wrong path :(
