It is the epic battle of all time. Which do you have on your bread/toast... oh, and to all those who have nothing - eck, that's just dry.

I prefer butter to margarine, but sometimes marge is all mum buys and I will eat it, but it's not that nice... >_>

Yeah, this is something that I'm really accustomed to. bread + butter as a side is such a win at meals.

I pretty much cannot tell the difference. I don't really use either though..I got really sick of it after lathering it on when I was younger. *shudder*

We have margarine at home, but I guess when you go out to eat and have those dinner rolls with the individual spreads I assume that's butter. We call margarine 'butter' here anyway.

Prefer butter but have margarine at home and only butter when out. Actually we have that cholesterol lowering stuff, its not too bad

Is 'here' just in your house? I can tell them apart quite easily. If you have ever seen the process of making margarine or butter, you can certainly tell as well.

Eck, the oils that go into Margarine are black... bahahah (but then again, butter has a lot more fat, usually).
