IDK what it's called in lebanese

but it's basically dough shaped into a ball-like shape filled with meat.

in Iraq it's called Kubba and is made either with a very nice orangy soup, or with yoghurt

Oh and Yolanda, The kebabs that are known to the world are not the same kebabs we have in Iraq

Iraq - Doner Kebabs are called Showarma or however you spell it
Iraq - Meat usually on a stick (called a shish) is called Kebab

and Bamya is the besttttttttttttt


and i can't believe you guys havn't mentioned patcha :O

someone explain what it is, i want someone to realise what it is so im not saying anything.

its Iraqi food

we kill a sheep for sacrifice on Eid and we boil a HUGE pot water/spices and put the head, legs etc in (I'm talking huge you could probably boil a person on there) and we serve the parts on top of rice

Im half Greek, but I use to live next door to Jordanian neighbours who would invite us over with family.. anyway lots of good food, but in particular there was something really yummy... forgotten what its called, but it was deep fried with mince, and roasted pine nuts inside.. not a good description, but i dont know what the outside layer was..
