fuck that is so expensive.Well I'm doing Commerce, so it'll be similar probably.
I didn't buy a single book for HSC. Apart from people on BOS, I really don't know many people who did.Jeez why would you spend so much money on textbooks unless you were forced? This isnt the HSC. Its 30 multiple choice final exams mostly lol.
Oh we were forced for the HSC haha, but it also helped.I didn't buy a single book for HSC. Apart from people on BOS, I really don't know many people who did.
With uni textbooks, you're right though, don't buy them unless it's absolutely necessary.
NO! You dont even need to buy one, its a waste of money. Everything is available in the subject summaries which are like 10-20$, and honestly, I havent read through a single one of them so im not buying them againIs it really needed to buy every textbook?
Oh, of course.Oh we were forced for the HSC haha, but it also helped.
btw did you miss me?
I bought a textbook this session, because it was the only way I'd have easy access to the homework questions. Two weeks after I bought it, they put all the questions online. So pissed.NO! Hey, man, I'm not like that at all. I drive a nice car. You're on BoS - you're probably already a 'N3RD' =P
Ummm... yes. Try around $100 per course, per semester.question, are Uni textbooks expensive?
Oh, but UNSW Bookshop sells their books at 10% off the RRP =PYes. Unishops will try and fuck you. Authors will release new copies of their book with minor edits every few years. Uni will assign books that you can only source through the unishop. AKA try and find them online when you can, or not buy them, or use the library.
No, you don't have to get any at all. However, if you're like me - you may need reassurance. Now, in my experience - the Commerce subjects use them. Homework questions for Economics and Accounting were sourced directly from the textbook. Is it really needed to buy every textbook?
Note that some subjects don't have summaries.NO! You dont even need to buy one, its a waste of money. Everything is available in the subject summaries which are like 10-20$, and honestly, I havent read through a single one of them so im not buying them again
You drive a nice car... on Gran Turismo 5? =PHey, man, I'm not like that at all. I drive a nice car.
It can also be more than 100, some are $130-$150 as well, like my accounting book, and $100 per subject not course...Ummm... yes. Try around $100 per course, per semester.
I joined the co-op bookshop membership thing, so it's $20 price and then 9% off for life, so it's not bad, i made back the $20 plus an extra $3 in first sem with the discount, 2 books for 2 subjects cost me $240 something, and I didnt even use one of them AT ALL, so pissed at the fact they made us buy it, nothing in the book was in the exam and now I need to sell it to someoneOh, but UNSW Bookshop sells their books at 10% off the RRP =P
