BIC Pro+ 1.0med point. It is the epic pen of my life. Always grab a new pack before exams, mainly so I have lots when the exams are over. You can get them at Kmart, office works etc for about $4 for a 2 pack. They are the best.

However, lately I have been using my kilometrico with a battery strapped to the pack to improve muscles....

I'm currently experimenting with pens to see which one would help with my handwriting. I used to use kilometrico, then realised it was shit, and now i'm using a gel pen- but I go through a pack pretty quickly...
Felt tip pens are alright... but like gel pens, I go through them pretty fast

Any recommendations on a pen for messy handwriting? I need something that glides and has a fine point.

Basically the same pen as ohexploitable's, except mine's the transparent version (Lamy Vista?) and you can see the ink feed and cartridge level a lot easier. I use this pen for writing intensive subjects (ancient and english). Kilometricos for maths and the sciences. And these fountain pens are pretty cheap. Mont blanc's go for $300+ easy, and this one cost around $40. Ink is pretty cheap as well, but depends on which ink. You'll need a new ink refill (bottle) every 1.5-2 years of moderate usage. Overall, fountain pens are cheaper in the long run.

Use what works best for you, try a variety of different pen types and then use the one that you like the most.

although fwiw my primary pens are a Lamy Safari FP (EF - Noodlers Black or Midnight Blue), uni pin fine line 0.1 or for special occasions montblanc meisterstuck classique

Where can I buy a fountain pen?

I don't see them in officeworks... or maybe i'm just blind.
you can buy them in dedicated pen stores, some jewelers and department stores like david jones

idk, ask harrisony or slide, they know more about fountain pens

edit: and of course you can buy them online

Is there any difference between a Matt Charcoal and Gloss black other than appearance?

that's the pen i'm using right now (in that colour too), just don't jump on the FP bandwagon because everyone else is using one. you either love them or hate them. Try one before you buy.
I cbb going all the way to a specialised pen shop to try a pen...
If it's anything like a felt tip crossed with a gel pen, i'm all in. Is it... like that?

HAHA. WHAT A COINCIDENCE.
