I will admit that I do have a good memory -
but in saying that, the HSC is basically just a memory-game.. if you take out MX2.
And memory can be developed through hard work and understanding the most effective ways to study.
TBH, I have seen many people, from my school who put in hours of study daily yet who weren't rewarded with probably the marks that they deserve.. I think that these people didn't study effectively.

It's one thing to study hard.. it's another thing to study smart.
Can I have your marks please...? I am expecting <30 ATAR. :(

Yeah, I am REALLY scared. I mean I have studied ALL holidays for ALL my subjects.

But still.................. it probably won't be good enough

Also, the moment when I am doing the HSC exam at last.. that will be O_O
especially for subjects i will never do again.

I just hope I will be on top of all my subjects. ESPECIALLY english

I was ranked in bottom 20 out of 180 at my school in Yr10.
But once I took my work seriously, and persevered I gradually improved.
Just don't give up yet.

There are things in life a LOT more scary than the HSC. I was scared some times, but that was only during the actual HSC exams (the night before, especially for English). that's when you realise you're taking it too seriously.

That is what I always do.
However our teacher specifically said to memorise, plus its a case study, so we have to memorise all the statistics, dates, etc.

the hsc's not ridiculously hard (except for English that can be a real bitch, get tutored if your school teacher isn't up to scratch), just study smart and hard. and for umat, if anyone tells you not to prepare for it you should spit on them because they're sabotaging you. especially for section three you'd be in a really bad place not practising it, because once you do practise it it'll be the easiest section by far; why put yourself behind thousands of others when you can help it?
