I have reached that form, though I don't understand how you reached a=1/4. (Seems like what I thought was how to do it was wrong )

Notice that the general form is: (x-h)^2 = 4a(y-k)

So "equating" the general form with the form above would give you 4a =1, therefore a=1/4.

Ran out of time to attempt last 2 parts of the last question. (Once the teacher said 15 minutes left I basically freaked out and couldn't really do anything).

I think my mark is between 75%-85%
