Re: MX2 Integration Marathon

from terry lee?
I didn't get it from there, its just the Beta function lol, The recurrence relation is quite simple for one that has multiple variables so I thought I'd just ask it straight away.

Re: MX2 Integration Marathon

I'm new to this so...
so you use that f(x) = f(a-x)
then you add them together.
2I = sin^-1(x-pi/4) then of course divide by 2
Yep

I'm a bit of newbie, but how do I insert equations in a reply
You need to insert the LaTeX code into the tags [.tex] and [./tex] (without the dots)

For example if you quote this post to see coding used:

and
Commands such as \frac and \sqrt are used, a small guide is stickied in these forums

Re: MX2 Integration Marathon

My friend conjectured:

For integer n, it works for n=2, 3 and 19 by computation

Any ideas on how to prove/disprove this?

Re: MX2 Integration Marathon

(After interchanging the limit and the integral, we use L'Hospitals to evaluate the inner limit.)
