That's pretty good if its tuned by STI (I'm guessing its a 3.0R?)

I mean, 9.5 is what you would get out of quite a few other modern vehicles that are 6-cylinder and possibly even some 4-cylinder vehicles.

But my boxer engine is 10 years older lol and is just a normal 2.5L variant so it just drinks away :(

Though it does have quite the power ;)
Nope, the tb STIs only came in that glorious EJ255, it's the 2.5 turbo. The 3.0Rs are Spec Bs only.

Yeah that makes more sense actually.

So its a GT tb STI.

Its still ok consumption though.

Compared to my EJ25D its way better.

Looks nice and clean. Did you get it recently? I like the shape of that E class.
Was never a big fan of it, I very much prefer this gen's E class.

Though the E63 looks pretty strange since the rear lights are rectangles as well as the exhaust pipes.

Also how are you driving an E class on your red's? I thought that car is turbocharged?

Never mind, only the newest generation is turbo. The others are ~3.5L aspirated.

I got it a month after I got my Ps, so id say about 6 weeks ago. The previous owner rarely drove it and went overseas. Car is meticulous and has no problems. Only 43,208 KMs when I bought it.


It's an E350. V6 Naturally aspirated engine, punches out ~200kW ATW which is pretty good for a non turbo car.
Low kms that is good.

For a V6 that is a bit higher than the normal range of V6's output (which would be somewhat 180-ish for a Japanese V6 of the same age).

The first 3.5l jap v6 from that time that comes to mind is the VQ35 which makes over 200kw in V35 skyline/350z tune.

V35 and 350Z are P Plate prohibited sadly, but the VQ35 has a range of 171-224 kW, not sure if ATW or at a certain RPM.
Yeah. Missed ATW tbh sorry, so the 350s would probably be quite a fair bit lower. I'm a tad skeptical that an e350 would be around 200kw atw though.

Normally manufacturers only quote at the flywheel, not the rear wheels in the case of the e350. Unless you're quoting a figure from an independent dyno tune, i'd be more inclined to believe it's at the flywheel. That's still impressive nonetheless and enough for a p plater though.

OP said at the wheel plus I meant for an NA V6.

There are NA H6's that could output about 200 kW atw in the mid-2000's or late-2000's make I think.

Like I said, I doubt an E350 makes that much at the wheels stock - googling suggests it makes that at the flywheel.

As for a H6 - In any of the water cooled Porsche 911s, yes. Stock Subaru? Definitely not.
