This is my suggestion on how to memorize the notes. Read over once, maybe one large chunk at a time - say about one or two pages. Try to reproduce, by writing it down or by reciting it, each chunk you have read as far as possible by recall, and refer back to the notes those parts you could not. Where time permits, do this 2 or 3 more times. What I am suggesting in any memorisation is that this is best done by writing things down and to repeat this process, each time, as far as possible by recall. I'm also suggesting that it is not possible, for most mortals anyway, to memorise a piece by staring at it, reading it and trying to remember it mentally; that you need to "do" it, by writing down or by some similar act.

My suggestion is not based on any current theory, but on my own experience and observation.

ps
By the way, why would you want to memorise 5k words of notes if all you want to do is Physiotherapy - you only need to know how to massage, I would have thought.

Part of the issue is actually getting into Physiotherapy in the first place - it is somewhat unfortunate, but realistically the HSC is a means to an end.

Thanks for the tip :) .. basically what im doing is read it a few times..write the stuff down a few times then recall it mentally.

And I also dont need maths for physio haha..but im gonna do 4u cuz of atar and I like maths. I actually want to get into sport physio so it would be quite alot of massaging :p

what I do with content heavy subjects: make notes of your notes onto one A4 page like you're gonna be able to take that sheet into the test (obviously you won't actually take it in) and then learn from that and continue to condense
works pretty well for me :)

Hopefully for physics they dont ask weird questions for long responses and hopefully there is alot of calculation :p
Last year they asked a 3 marker on why is diamond a better jewellery than glass (given that diamond had higher Refractive Index)..dafuk
I am aiming for full marks or atleast 30+/35..need to catch up to 1st after coming 8th for my first assessment LOL
