What do we think guys? Which Module will have an extract quoting prescribed text?
Yes and preferably a lot, like beat them over the head with extract quotes (try aim for 3+ depending on how long it is)if they give us an extract does that mean we have to use that text in our essay? like for eliot
Just write about storytelling!guys help me i do not have a creative idea please suggest a simplistic one that can be adapted to a variety of mod c questions. Lend a hand for a fellow english struggler pls
mannn thanks bro hella helpfulJust write about storytelling!
just write about a generic theme like loss/redemption/etcmannn thanks bro hella helpful
ngl mod c you just kinda wing it in my experience. If you try to fit a predetermined 'idea' into the context of something vastly different, you will come across as fake, and it will be very obvious that you're trying to recycle previous work.guys help me i do not have a creative idea please suggest a simplistic one that can be adapted to a variety of mod c questions. metafiction; can be adapted to different forms and importantly, fits the essence of the module as 'craft of writing' so almost every question has an entry point for this type of writing.guys help me i do not have a creative idea please suggest a simplistic one that can be adapted to a variety of mod c questions. i hope not. they specified hollow men last so it probs won’t be that at leastu reckon theyll ask for specific poems for mod b ts eliot?
maybe, maybe not since NESA apparently does not follow a pattern lol. But its likely they will give an extract if they specify poems. If not, ig its better to be prepared for all poemsu reckon theyll ask for specific poems for mod b ts eliot?
I think generally you're supposed to show how the quote is representative of broader literary forms and features throughout the text, and extend a more detailed analysis of the kind of 'theme' it associates to.How do you answer the questions which have an extract provided?
Do you take some quotes from it and show how it highlights a particular theme, or do you just say it generally? What's the best way?
I agree being prepared for all poems isn't a bad thing, but if they asked a specific poem without providing the extract it would be an unfair disadvantage in comparison who only did on text for mod B, so it's unlikely they'll do thatmaybe, maybe not since NESA apparently does not follow a pattern lol.
