Is anyone able to rank maths std2 HSC papers in order of difficulty? (2 Viewers)

I wanna do all the hardest papers first, but i don’t know which ones are the hardest. i’ve already started with the 2020 paper, which ones next? (2019 onwards)

From 2019 onwards 2022 was the hardest paper as scaling was amazing that year due to people performing really badly due to the difficulty.

Yea it was extremely similar to 2022 in terms of difficulty I mean with both exams low 80s would get you a b6 while in other years you have to get high b5s for it to align to a b6

If you can get a hold of the independent and CSSA papers they are really good cause they test every little detail of the syllabus, making them much more difficult than even the 2020 HSC. but it all depends on the skills and well if your teacher has the papers since they are copyright protected meaning you can't really share them around.

Just remember maths standard 2 is a basic paper overall since its catered to lower band students who struggle with maths. So you should be fine

you realise there are common questions between standard and advanced? i’m basically asking which papers share the most questions with advanced. regardless of how easy something is, it can still be ranked in difficulty.

I've done HSC papers from 2023 to 2020 so far and I found the 2020 one the hardest in terms of difficulty. Hopefully we won't get a paper like that this year, although there are high chances we will :/

That's true but imo I'd rather have a easy test with horrible scaling like the 2023 one, than hard one and better scaling.

isn't easy test with horrible alignment worse . u get like 0 room for error
in a hard test with good alignment, ifl you get more room for error so your range of marks should be smaller given the more forgiving alignment.
