bsically, pasteurisation involves heating the milk/wine at 70degree for a few minutes to remove any microbes. the raw milk had microbes in it because it wasnt pasterised, thus it ad higher trends of outbreaks. its trend declined at the end because people probably stopped simply using it.
wait am i even right ?

I feel like for the line of best fit trend prediction question if you clearly show what percentage your line landed on for 2040 and the correct working out they’d possibly still give you the marks

I think I said about the same but more convoluted, I yapped about how in his swan neck experiments he sterilised the beef broth first or whatever and this both lead to development to germ theory of disease plus also lead Pasteur to come up w that heating kills microbes that cause disease (pure making shit up on the spot, no idea if it did or not) and then talked about the stats, i said the trend for raw milk was random bc disease is random but decrease was likely bc of decrease use of raw milk then said occurence of disease from pasteurised milk could potentially be due to:
- heat resistant microbes
- incorrect pasteurization
- user error (left the milk at room temp for too long lol)

lol I'm cooked then, I said that that his work played a big role, cause he studied how liquids didn't have microbes/pathogens if threy were heated up
