    Haha, you must miss me telling you to study :D I did my science homework, English homework, studied for geography, studied for commerce and studied for maths by doing one exercise. Not bad, eh? You better be proud haha! :D

    Just remember not to overwork yourself. Most BoSers say that you need to be consistent throughout the whole year :) And remember Carrot's diagram, you don't want that to happen to you! :)

    I'll try.

    I like how as soon as I've told you to study hard, I've bludged practically this whole afternoon XD I got some homework done for Modern His, which was sort of study in itself. But I'm devoting the week to English considering the next 2 exams are both English and both next week lol. Far out, I have days of epic study concentration and then today which was just me vegging out watching Season 2 of Community which I now have :D

    Aha I forgot the website but it gives you a full comparison graph of ever HSC subject, put SOR in it and pit it against some other subjects, I want to see just how bad it scales :p
    Least you'll be onto more relevant and useful tests now lol.

    And we had our religion exam today! One exam down :) Funny thing is that even though we go to a Catholic school and we pray a million times a day, no one cares about religion. We all just went in and wrote whatever haha. The essay question was a bible passage but it had some extra questions under it. Some people even made up quotes from the bible :p We all failed, we know it but everyone doesn't care. I can just hear our religion teachers saying, "If you don't do well in SOR next year, it will affect your ATAR! SOR's scaling can help you! If you don't do well, we'll put you in Catholic Studies!" And really, who wants to do that? Catholic Studies doesn't go towards the ATAR :p

    Wow I would slightly advise against 14 units as that is practically overkill, but I'll leave that up to you :p

    Aha yes I have seen that article, but the response video by Tristan Barker is soooo funny he just slams the article and the media in one go. The funny thing is he hasn't even recieved any court order etc... The media made that up lol.

    Yeah, I've found that discussions are actually very effective. We do that a lot in commerce and we never get homework but we still learn heaps. Discussions are great :D I'm really thinking about doing history now that you mention it but I'm going to be on 14 units then. I do like history but I'm already on 12 units so I didn't choose it. Not too sure what to do at the moment!

    Well you don't need to worry as much anymore since exams start very soon and the time I have to stalk you is decreasing XD Aw, don't get upset. I'll have all day after the exams which is around week 6 :D Haha and if you're talking about the "It's only year 10!" excuse, I haven't used it yet, I swear! :D Don't worry Caffeine, I'll study hard! :D

    You know what? I think I just discovered TRUE education tonight. I mean actual learning, not from a syllabus but from actual discussion.

    History Extension = best subject ever (despite it being the 1st lesson :p) It's a night time class which goes for 1.5hrs and wow the teacher who we all like, knows his stuff when it comes to philosophy etc. and the whole idea of the class is open discussion amongst everyone. There's no set syllabus and it's about debating.

    Anyway besides that awesome awesome class,

    Yes I worry about you and the time you have to stalk me ;) Aha don't let that be your excuse, this is your chance to fight! Come on Ealsy fight boy fight!

    Caffeine! I've been a bit busy today since exams are getting closer so I only went on BoS every now and then but I always have time to post something on your profile xD I really hope our school doesn't have any assessments like that, that would be annoying :p

    Haha, not sure what my life rank is but it's definitely not 1st! And no you do not want to see that. Instead you will do everything you can to ensure that it doesn't happen xD It would be so weird not having them haha.     Lol it's a one of a kind assessment, so thankfully I'll never ever see one again after this one :p And to think the one we did in prelims was the last one :( Oh I would react BADLY... as I am sure most of my grade would.

    Ranking 1st in life = asserting your position, enjoying the present and enjoying where you stand, how you treat others, how others treat you because of you... <-- Based on that you can assess your life rank :p Unless of course you're Bill Gates who gives away as much of his money as possible to charity :p But he doesn't count because he's rich. XD

    Ahahahaha I would like to see that happen, you'd be at a major loss without them :p

    Ok that is definitely weird for maths :p lol so each school has their weird subject XD Maths assignments lol!?! Meanwhile at the Board of Studies XD (i love those meme's) HSC Memes on facebook is literally the funniest (mainly because it's now relevant)

    Nah she'll be right, I've got stuff prepared so I'm not actually concerned that they're close by at all. I just want the damn listening task over and done with so that I never ever ever have to see another one in my entire life XD <-- Dat dere super long sentence.     Ahhh but...umm...dammit! You win :p

    Haha it's similar at our school but we want to have normal assignments for maths. I mean other schools just do questions but we do weird things like making videos, 3D shapes, etc. It's never relevant to what we are doing in class. That's why I fainted (not really) when I saw one of Kaze's maths assignments :p I swear, the assignments are so annoying. Teachers are probably sit in their offices all day thinking, hmm how can we make these assessments weirder and harder for these students? :p

    I still think they should give you guys a bit more time though. 3 days is not enough. Or maybe they just want to see you all panic because everything counts now. You never know XD Who said that teachers can't be evil? :p I can't help but wonder what everyone else in your cohort thinks about this assessment xD

    Yeah listening task is on 30th October which is basically a week and a bit and the in class essay is 3 days afterwards.

    It's so long to explain but it's just going to be a nightmare. It involves listening to an extract from a speech (no you cannot see it, only hear it) then answering questions on it. But the questions are absolute bastards in terms of how vague and hard they can be. + It will be 2 different speeches to do and factoring in the time limit = misery :(

    Haha, well the aim is to do well in both the listening and the essay which are only days apart from each other but if it was to go South in listening hopefully I'll make it back with the essay.
