    Haha I still use them. Next year I'll try to do what is suggested though, just having dot points. However I have to make sure I really understand what I'm talking about otherwise I'll need the palm cards :p And for me it's because I don't study so I don't even know the answers, therefore I can't contribute XD I'll study next year though, promise :D How many promises have I made to you again? :p

    Aha yeah about the palm cards... cough cough, I still used them in prelim XD This year though I plan to memorise my speeches, apparently you can't get full marks in HSC if you use palm cards.

    Yeah it really is only until prelim and HSC that people start to contribute, mainly because they are more important exams/years.

    Seems like it's staying there so saving it to a word document won't be necessary :D That's good it was compulsory though, we never had anything like that. That's why at school there are some people who are really, really good and others who just read off their palm cards (even now). It's something I need to improve haha :) Don't worry Caffeine, I'll be a bit more useful next year XD Enoilgam says that most BoSers don't start contributing until senior years anyway :)

    Bahahah you might as well save it to a document :p At King's public speaking was compulsorary from Kindy - year 6. I'm glad it is compulsorary as it is an invaluable skill to learn, that many struggle to do. It built confidence right from the get go and by the time I was doing speeches in high school I was getting good marks as I already knew how to present etc. Not to mention its like the one life skill you can actually take from school :p

    Aha indeed, you can start providing input etc. :p

    Nice post about speeches :) I bet your speeches are amazing, inspirational ones haha. Mine are awful XD I really hope that thread doesn't get deleted otherwise you'll type it up again, right? ;)

    Next year when I study almost every day, I'll be able to make posts that are a bit more helpful too :D

    Haha I mean the theory is good, I like it actually :) But I don't want few practicals, I want no practicals at all! :D That's why I didn't continue with it XD

    Yes, our cohort is bad! Remember what I told you about the excursions? Many teachers even told us that we are the worst cohort in the school's history. So embarrassing. And to be honest, I really don't think we are going to change. Seriously, my best friends never help me out. Whenever I ask for help they tell me to ask the teacher, probably because they are afraid that if I get it, I will beat them in the next exam or something. They are so competitive I mean even in class when we are answering questions, they would look over at me literally every 2 minutes to see what question I'm on and start talking to me non-stop when they are done to distract me. Yeah, very good friends XD

    Seriously your year sounds pretty bad :S If everyone's just mucking around and not doing much. For your sake I hope that changes, because both the 2012ers and my year are all really good when it comes to sharing notes and helping out. It just makes everything easier and when it comes to Year Meetings people actually are quiet etc. Hopefully they change for you guys, having your year help everyone is a major bonus. In my maths class my group of mates (we're at the back row) end up teaching ourselves everything. The teacher is good, but one of the guys is seriously good at teaching it so we learn from him as well :p

    Indeed ;) Luckily I'm not doing PDHPE next year :D There is about 3 - 4 more practical lessons and then it's over! :)

    Haha our assistant year coordinator was talking to us about our cohort during the announcements because people wouldn't stop talking. She said that we are all selfish and we will not work together. I must admit, she is right. Most of us don't care about anyone else, such a shame. I hope it changes next year though :) I mean the 2012'ers at our school work together, they share notes, they help each other, etc. We do none of that XD

    We were all talking about it the other day in p00n and all of us were like, how did they not notice that? XD Haha, I love mistakes in exams :D Is it just me? :)

    Yeah best of luck for your English, Advanced can be one of the biggest saving things in the HSC, especially with a good cohort.

    aahahha yes I just read this arvo, what a mistake to make though. I would have cracked up in the exam if I saw that :p Good thing is though it can't really affect how you answer the question, maybe it acts as stress relief halfway through the exam? lol.

    They wouldn't ban me XD And I've never received an infraction surprisingly. Before the exam I was like, PDHPE is common sense! Then I opened the exam paper and thought, damn it. Before entering the room I should've read over my notes one more time XD

    Most of the class got a lower mark than me though :) But that's because most of the class goes to maths or science tutoring so they don't care about PDHPE haha. I was also happy because I thought it was our last assessment but no, our maths teacher gives us 2 more exams and we get one assessment for English too. It's not even going to our report but they said if we fail, we will be considered for standard English so I better get something good :)

    Haha I got 75% for my PDHPE exam. The highest in our class was 83% I wonder if you are going to report me since I didn't get at least 99% XD

    A few days?! Lucky! :p And I hate English at the moment, it's so boring. 16/20 isn't so bad but yes nail the next one! :D I bet your hoping that whoever is coming first makes some silly mistakes or something XD

    Haha, no way. It was only hard because most of us didn't study for it XD Our teacher said that we are getting our exams back tomorrow so hopefully it's good :D

    And you know them. I'm sure there are more but the ones who know exactly who you are (I think) and jmurph and AppleShark (I wonder what that means :)) I only know one guy on BoS that goes to my school but he makes lots of accounts and gets banned every time XD

    Aha English, such a lovely subject is it not? (Sarcasssssmmmmmmmmmm) I would just like to have had a better mark though :S Gotta nail this next one otherwise I will be depressed. My overall mark (because the listening task and essay were combined) was : 16/20 which isn't entirely bad, but it could've been so so soooo much better.

    Ah well, maybe you'll be the outlier in PE and get a great mark :p Was the test easy or hard?

    Hmm who are these other King's people?

    Aha I wish someone would help, load of slackers this BoS community ;) (jks). I'll talk to my teacher soon, just wanted some outside thoughts.

    I asked my PDHPE teacher about our exams and he said that most of our cohort didn't do too well in it. Not feeling too confident about my mark XD

    EDIT: Seems like more people from your school are signing up on BoS :) Now we all know where you go even though you've hidden it from your profile haha XD You better check again to make sure you haven't said anything that you shouldn't have ;)

    And no one seems to be helping you on your history major thread. Aren't your teachers helping you out? :) By what day do you need to come up with the question?

    And about that guy I was talking about a few days ago, he is still touching me and now he has a picture of me as his wallpaper. I know, how creepy :p

    And we found out when we finish! We finish on the 13th December 2012 :D The teachers were saying that years 7 - 9 finish a bit later though so probably the week afterwards or something. I don't know how much earlier you finish but lucky you :p

    Haha, very true. I agree with some of the comments, it's like banning someone from reading - not going to happen XD And unfortunately we get no presents :p Yes yes I'll continue working on my English assessment now. I dislike English at the moment, it's so boring :p

    Aww, sorry to hear that but it's good that you're moving on from it :) What didn't the marker like about it though? And what's your rank? :)

    Yeah, even though our yearlies are over we are told several times "The course still continues!" so for maths we have one more test that goes to our report and for English we have this assessment but we are getting tested on outcomes so we don't actually get a mark that goes towards our report. Most of us don't really care about anything now haha. Most of our maths class isn't going to study for it, just couldn't be bothered and for English, we'll just do something quickly :p
