  1. Q

    CH3COONa or NaCH3COO?

Both are fine, in the context of organic chemistry the first way makes sense, in the context of acid/base second way makes sense but overall both are perfectly fine. (atleast for HSC, CM_tutor might have some uni level explanation as to why one is better lol).
  2. Q

How fast can you answer this scholarship test question (intelligence?)

Is the answer D? (took me about 1 minute). Also no these tests mean next to nothing in intelligence and is really just a brain-teaser.
  3. Q

    Electrotechnology

What does R1 and L1 mean?
  4. Q

What percentage of people get each ATAR mark?

Yep the HSC is normally distributed If I recall correctly.
  5. Q

What percentage of people get each ATAR mark?

One more thing to note is the atar comes in 0.05 increments so a 99.94 is not possible. You can check table A7 in the link above for every increment
  6. Q

What percentage of people get each ATAR mark?

From here https://www.uac.edu.au/assets/documents/scaling-reports/preliminary-report-2020-nsw-hsc.pdf 17% got 90 or above (in 2020), which is roughly 9000 people.
  7. Q

    What happened?

    What happened?

  10. Q

    Reading

I would try finding pdf's (literally type the short story you want they pdf after), or look for websites with that short story. For your second point thats why short stories are so good since they get straight into the action, for example in the machine stops, from the first page you can pick...
  11. Q

  12. Q

    Reading

If you are looking for creative inspiration maybe short stories are the way to go, I recommend 'The machine stops' a geninuely helpful story (really creative) that helped me.
  13. Q

    Reading

Not really quote some past advice
  14. Q

    Reading

Not everyone needs to be a 1000 iq English genius to comment. She is just giving a book recommendation of a book I presume she likes, I don't see the big deal.
  15. Q

    Reading

Not sure if this will help you for English but Harry Potter is really good, easy read fun etc.
  16. Q

    MX2 Integration Marathon

Yeah lol, some factoring trick I imagine, or King Rule but I dont see how that is used.
  17. Q

For some reason I thought it was clearer without latex lol
  18. Q

  19. Q

How to prepare for hard questions in exams?

Try selective school past papers you will definitely 'run into' hard questions there. They also usually have worked solutions like on thsc so check up on their methods.
