Yea agree with this. HSC physics has such minimal maths but on a conceptual understanding level physics was really useful for vectors and mechanics.

The other option is to go through the advanced content inside and outside of class at your own pace (likely far faster than that of your advanced class) and then spend significantly more time on ex II and ex I

I’m pretty sure they ask for proof of your Rawmarks when you submit (ie ask for the pdf straight from NESA). Also, when putting their data into excel and graphing it I haven’t noticed any obvious outliers so far (although with so little data it’s kinda hard to spot outliers)

I agree it’s a bit unfair but there isn’t really a perfect solution. No matter how they allocate the exams someone will get a bad timetable. At least they notify us of the timetable months in advance

Yea, once scaling gets applied the person whose HSC mark ended up being 100 instead of 90 gets a significantly higher aggregate (which contributes to ATAR) Pretty sure UAC doesn’t even look at the HSC aligned mark, they only look at the raw marks

I agree that HSC physics has fairly simple maths. But the type of people who do 0 units of maths presumably have weak maths skills and might find the physics maths challenging (challenging is probably too strong a word, but the point I’m trying to make is that someone who does maths will be able...

If you are "scraping" an E4 with your raw marks then you will definitely get an E4. Even for extension 1 the alignment is pretty crazy.
