    Multiple choice multiplier question

Question 12, answer is D I just can't figure out why. It's from 2010 hsc.

    Bad exam mark

Bruv you're in Year 11 and it's 85%, not that bad. If you want to improve from this result look at what questions you got wrong and analyse your exam technique. If you don't know the content we'll enough then study that, if your exam technique was poor then do a bunch of practice exams, also...

    ext 2 math: a retrospective

Nesa does have rules, just some schools, particularly private and selective schools, break them and get away with it bc no one polices them.

Is 1500 words in 60 mins realistic?

Try writing them out at full speed, if it takes more than an hour then shorten your price or increase your writing speed until you can do it in an hour.

please help with making foo please

    You're like a venerable generous grandfather, he's a creep.

please help with making foo please

Wtf are you doing on a forum for highschool students when you joined in 2008 and likely graduated well over a decade ago. It's creepy as shit, get off the website you're like 35

    law/commerce v computer science

You can do law/com or law/eco and not be a lawyer. Stuff like investment banking and many other high paying careers like to hire law grads, especially those from Go8 unis.

    Balancing school and extracurriculars

Assuming this post is serious, figure out what atar you want, then figure out the rough marks you need to get a little more than that atar, then do the required study to get to that atar each week/day and then spend the rest of your time playing fortnite and pokemon go. If you do your study b4...

    Australia's BOP

May I ask what this is for? It's extremely unlikely such a specific question would be raised in hsc.

What marks should I be aiming for to get 99.90+?

If you want to compare years you can use hsc ninja, and if you want to convert the data oneself I'd recommend using graphs such as the one attached rather than uac's data.

What marks should I be aiming for to get 99.90+?

Atar calculators are based off uac's data, all they do is convert scaled marks to atar contributions. Uac recently released a calculator themselves, so it's really unnecessary to calculate from the data oneself.

What marks should I be aiming for to get 99.90+?

Depends if you're talking raw or scaled. If they are raw internal marks then it depends a lot on your school. If they are scaled marks then chuck them in an atar calculator and see if it puts out 99.90+. If they're raw external marks then they'd probably be good enough, just double check with...

Which Math textbook should I mainly use for studying

Btw I'd just like to stress the importance of doing past trial questions bc hsc questions are simply not enough, and for adv. and ext. (especially adv) if you do a bunch of trial questions you can pretty much cover 90% of the questions you will encounter in exams.

Which Math textbook should I mainly use for studying

Nah Terry lee is mostly shit. For advanced it's practically useless and for ext 1 it's passable. There's no reason to use it for this case after doing Cambridge and Fitzpatrick. It was very good in old syllabus but now it's not really up to scratch and has poor theory. It's main advantage are...

Which Math textbook should I mainly use for studying

Use Cambridge primarily, and Fitzpatrick as a backup and additional textbook for when Cambridge isn't good or too hard etc. Instead of success one go to thsconline.github.io and do questions from thr past papers there.

Is Andrew Tate a misogynist or here to save us from the matrix?

See title, interested to see peoples thoughts. Personally I think there's good and bad and the bad slightly outweighs the good.

    How to start studying

Just start doing stuff and you'll slowly pick back up. You might not be 100% efficient right from the start but you'll get there. If you're really struggling, start with a small amount of study, so small that you can't not do it, say 30 minutes one day, and gradually increase until you're at...

    possible to improve rank drastically?

What atar are you aiming for? I wouldn't be too worried as you're at a top 5 school, unless you're specifically aiming for med/law/scholarships.
  19. H

How much to study for a 85 ATAR ?

Nah you really don't need that much study for 85 atar. That's 27 hours a week, for an 85 I'd agree with most others that 15 hours a week and a bit more before exams and assignments would be sufficient. If you're studying 27 hours a week and your marks are looking at an 85 you aren't studying...

Should I drop to standard math?

If dumbcurry is "mentally deficient" or has a wobbly foundation in basic maths, he shouldn't be doing the advanced course. Also, Cambridge introduces its concepts gradually, and if a person cannot solve the more basic of the questions for each exercise after reading the explanations, I would...
