Should I drop to standard math?

This isn't necessarily good advice. If someone is getting 28% in an advanced maths exam, they aren't studying enough. A tutor will not solve this problem. Tutoring can be helpful, yes, but it is far from necessary, and a tutor cannot make you study. Many people get a poor mark on an exam and...

    ATAR estimate please :(

It appears that your marks are consistent with an atar of 80-82, with an lowest possible atar at around 77. If your externals are near what you think, you could be looking at an atar of 83-85. Good luck!

    ATAR estimate please :(

Putting your average of your internals and externals is a poor method, as the matrix calculator and indeed all atar calculators are designed to used scaled marks. You are therefore much better off estimating your scaled internals based off the number of bad sixes and your rank. Raw internals...

What is genuinely considered a good raw mark?

If you go to rawmarks.info it gives raw to scaled hsc mark conversions submitted by students from previous years. Normally for extension 2, low to mid 70s raw in the hsc translates to 90 scaled mark. Cssa trials are meant to be at the level of hsc or harder so at this rate you should be set for...
