You won;t get very far in EX1 with spark notes. Try reading tertiary level analysis from websites such as jstor and also *shock horror* actual books which have critical essays in them. School libraries have heaps of these but no one ever seems to use them.

It's great you want to do medicine, and looking at how smart and dedicated you are, you probably will end up doing it. It's just that getting .95 is only one way to get into med in the wider scheme of things.

it's good to aim high but honestly, that's a very unhealthy, almost self destructive mentality to have. To get .95 you need a whole lot of luck on top of natural ability and hard work.

3U is very manageable if you enjoy it; but as with most HSC courses, doing well is definitely not easy. Imo, 3U is more challenging than advanced, but oh so much more interesting
