    Physics Bridging course

I would recommend just revising your high school notes and not going to the physics bridging course. Physics bridging course would basically teach you content in HSC physics, and physics at uni-level is very different to physics at HSC level.

    Marketing double major?

Many people seem to do a double major with marketing and psychology. A double degree diversifies your skills and separates you from the pack. With that being said, you should only do a double degree if you're actually interested in what you're studying. So if there are no areas of science that...

    2014'ers Chit-Chat Thread

Re: The p00n thread m9, don't memorise them. after you familiarise yourself with complex numbers, some of them will feel "intuitive" i.e. they'll make sense to you even though you haven't "proved" them to yourself. the ones that don't feel intuitive, you'll probably be asked to prove those...

    10 units vs 12 units.

do 12 if you're interested in all 12 units, do 10 if you're just doing the last 2 for "backup".

Is it worth doing a double degree in commerce and science?

if you're set on research, you should take a straight science degree - but doing a double degree in commerce and science keeps your options open. you may find out during your degree that research is not for you (when you start doing actual research) but the skills that you acquire from science...

    UNSW vs USYD Commerce

you can basically do that at USYD by choosing the times where you're "unavailable" ... and at USYD, there is much less competition in getting the times you want on your timetable. Links with industry aplenty at USYD - contact career kiosk for more info. And quality of education depends more on...
