Could someone lend me some motivation.

I just had 4 exams and my English Extension 2 Major Work & Reflection Statement due this week. If I did it, you can too, without a doubt.

HSC Delayed till 9th Nov, Schools Back by Oct, ATAR 20th Jan, Uni Offers from 26th Jan, SRS from 12th Nov

A multitudinous amount of other nation's education authorities have cancelled final exams worldwide. Why is the occurrence of the traditional HSC exams so imperative?

HSC Delayed till 9th Nov, Schools Back by Oct, ATAR 20th Jan, Uni Offers from 26th Jan, SRS from 12th Nov

Who knows. We can speculate. Only time will tell. I imagine though, that given our current vaccination rates and projections, there really shouldn't be many impediments to the 2022 HSC's final exams & most of the school year.

    Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

My word, how soft people have got since Covid rolled around? Comparing our pandemic with fictional dystopias and glorifying life under the Taliban as a more desirable existence? Some of y'all need to grow up in my book.

making use of term 3 holidays for yr 12 term 4

Don't burn out. You'll have plenty of time to 'grind' in Year 12. Not to discourage you doing anything in the T3 holidays, just don't overdo it. It'll be your last real break for a while, so make the most of it.

Is NOT feeling overwhelmed for trials necessarily a bad thing?

Why would you want the stress? If you're prepared, you've got nothing to worry about.

    overwhelmed

Ultimately, it's really about the destination, not the journey... Boomers will invert that phrase, but I find it effective to count the days til all this is hopefully over and you'll realise that there really isn't much time left - thus, get onto it and study when you can. It'll pay off. Don't...

    Interesting Novels?

Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut is a brilliant read. I'm big into James Joyce, which I'd recommend but only if you are an experienced reader (I'm in the middle on Ulysses at the minute and it's taken me over a year so far...) If you are into investigative non-fiction, I thoroughly enjoyed...

    Thoughts on hsc subjects

Not really a regret, but do not, and do not, take 4U English up if you know you will just procrastinate the entire way through. However, if you are admittedly a procrastinator like myself, there's time to fix that, even if it's just for the Ext 2 course. - To add, don't take it up for the...
