Thanks Carrotsticks and Trebla for writing the maths papers! Despite wanting to die multiple of times during the 2/3/4U exams, the last two days have been very helpful :)

I memorised all 3 of my modules essays in half a day before my English Paper 2 trial and I did fine (lowest mark was 19/20). It was extremely stressful though, I would recommend dedicating only 1/2 essays per day leading up to HSC

I was like 'wtf' when I got up to the Q13 Projectile motion question. Got stuck on the limiting population of the pigeons and I skipped quite a few questions due to time urgh. I thought exactly the same thing, e.g. the circle geo diagram took up a whole page and was only worth 2 marks lol. I...

Legit failed that exam, the biggest hurdle for me was definitely the time pressure :(

NSG's English faculty is okay, the teachers/cohort are probably similar to any other top selective school. Just a warning, they do have many weird assessment tasks for Belonging and Mod C... NSG is really strong for Modern History, the teachers are really great from what I've heard. Physics...

Do you think it's better to make a reserve list just in case? There's bound to be a few people who won't turn up on the day and it'll be a waste if someone else desperately wants to go

Re: HSC 2013 3U Marathon Thread is the symmetry argument basically saying that since pi/4 is the projection angle that leads to the longest range (once you prove that of course), it will also hit the ground at pi/4 in the opposite direction, hence they are perpendicular?
