hey guys does anyone know any good math tutoring places that focus on exams type question.

For @KHT I'm more than happy to let you know of my private tutor's details through PM, if you want to start a conversation.

Oath, it was so hard to watch him celebrate like that. United's job doesn't get any easier with Chelsea on the weekend (although no Maguire, so they may actually be decent in defence) and then Arsenal the week after.

Need help figuring out post-graduate Med pathway

You do have a few options; Macquarie has a post grad medicine pathway, where you do a clinical sciences course for 2 or 3 years, of which the last year consists of GAMSAT preparation, so may better align with your intended pathway. With regards to reserving medicine spots, ANU has a postgrad...

hey guys does anyone know any good math tutoring places that focus on exams type question.

Some I found online were Delta Education, Dux Tuition, Matrix and Talent 100. Although personally, a private tutor may be more beneficial for English tutoring, as they can cater to your specific texts you are learning in class and can specifically address some of your issues with essay writing.

    Football discussion thread

Yh ... Maguire didn't help his own cause by cupping his ears when celebrating against Albania (or whoever it was) and then getting a red card in the next league game against Watford, succumbing to a 4-1 loss (which could have been 5 or 6 if not for De Gea). I really don't see the 80 million...

    Is my handwriting legible?

Trust me, it gets much worse in university. When you don't write for pretty much a whole year (due to online exams and online lectures), my handwriting pretty much looks like hieroglyphics (when I am required to write for certain tasks); it's impossible for even me to sometimes decipher what...

    2021 LAT Results

That isn't just a good score, but it's an amazing score ... I haven't heard of anyone else post with a similar score to that. With regards to your question, I saw the following link --> https://www.unsw.edu.au/law-justice/study/undergraduate/law-admission-test , which may address your question...

    Football discussion thread

True, although, I did hear some rumours about Zidane wanting to manage PSG, and as he's French, that may work in his favour (if Poch ends up going to Manchester United).

    Football discussion thread

I don't see in all honesty how they can win the Champions League. Yes, they do have brilliant independent players, but it takes far more than that. Like for example, player for player, PSG will absolutely dominate Chelsea, but in regards to manager coaching and players understanding their role...

    Chem help

Seems about right, unless one of the Chem moderators find something else. Honestly though, I used to hate these questions as well, as I would have to go through each step and think about how concentration or moles will be affected in each step; but the best way to go about it is to do what...

    Units for hsc

Honestly for English, the one thing I can say is practice heaps. Acquire as many past papers as you can (HSC, trial, internal, etc) and just grind them out. Remember though that the feedback on them is the most important thing; there isn't any point writing an essay if you don't know where to...

    Units for hsc

What I'd also add is that when it comes to Question 16 in the HSC, pretty much any marks you can get here will be 'golden' marks and probably worth double the other marks; just because usually, a large proportion of the state won't attempt it (given the overall difficulty of the exam), so this...

What areas of maths should i be focusing on during holidays ?

I wouldn't say it's a difficult topic, but a better word to describe it may be abstract. People who can think outside the box (while applying quite simple concepts to do with factorization) will usually find it much more doable.

Anyone else bombing out the hsc despite doing well internally?

I can't say too much now, but if it does mean anything, a lower overall performance by the entire state may result in lowered benchmarks for certain bands, but it's really hard to extrapolate the difficulty of an exam solely based on 1 BoS thread.

Anyone else bombing out the hsc despite doing well internally?

I get you ... the hardest thing can be moving away from performances not up to your expectations, especially after having spend so much time studying for those exams. The only thing I can say is to focus on any upcoming exams you have, and if you have finished your HSC, congratulations and make...

How to effectively study year 11 extension maths ?

If you want, you can use the summer holidays to your advantage. I'm not saying to completely burn yourself out by working all the time, but even if you can complete a chapter in a week, then it will give you a good headstart going into Year 11. Given you have 6 weeks of holidays + a few weeks...

    one more week until chem

Yep, so like the 3 types of biofuels (biogas, biodiesel and bioethanol) and for saponification, the different types of molecules (cationic, anionic and neutral; don't remember the exact terms, what their structure is like and the general method for how soaps work)

Anyone else bombing out the hsc despite doing well internally?

Have you found the exams harder this year or is it just the preparation which hasn't been as thorough for the exam?

    General Calculation Question

Could you provide an example question, because I'm a bit unsure on what you're specifically asking?

    Math Advanced Prediction/Thoughts

That makes sense actually for Advanced and Extension 1, but I would think it may be a bit lower for Extension 2 (maybe 95+, as it is an incredible feat and very difficult to get a raw mark this high). But if you ae citing it from data, then that makes sense.
