Mainly for the year 9/10's What subject gets you out of bed in the morning. Personally, its english for me. I love everything about it. Especially when molding my analysis in essays :) good fun.

The only benefit I can think of going to a selective school is its competitive atmosphere but that doesn't necessarily mean a better HSC result. This site seems to have a pretty good balance of selective and non-selective students so it will be interesting what the outcomes will be. :)

That sucks :( and if you want to do an extension subject, don't let your school make you settle for mediocre - your future is what you're dealing with.

I know its not on the list, but I reconmend you choose english extension as your filler subject :) your mark for english isnt too shabby and you will be given the choice on taken up 4u english if you want after year 11. Good luck!

how about you consider economics instead of business studies? the post before has stated that business is a boring subject - and scales average. So wouldn't you want to do a subject that: 1) requires essays (just like business and legal), 2) scales substantially better than business and 3)may...

Hey! :) I recommend you take on chemistry and business studies and leave both music and drama for your free time. Reading, playing and writing notes in Music is assumed knowledge (regardless if its music 1 or 2) so unless you want to add more stress to your agenda, i suggest not to do it. :)...
